Sometimes I talk about my work. I’ve done so on news radio programs, on The Chronicle’s podcast, College Matters (you can listen to those episodes here and here), and on other podcasts like Backlash, which is about America’s circuitous path toward progress. I recently did an interview with Longform Profiles in which I discussed my approach to finding and telling stories.

Sometimes I moderate discussions. I did so in October 2024 for PEN America, in collaboration with the Magna Charta Observatory, and managed to fall off the stage only once.
